Problems in the Business World

At the very beginning of my research process I had decided to venture and research in the field of entrepreneurship. From the first few weeks I gained a lot of insight on focusing on my broad interest in business into the more specific field of entrepreneurship and what it means to build a business. Although I do still have many questions on my topic, I find myself shifting towards the marketing field. I feel as though I want to expand my creativity and allow for new ideas and designs. I might face challenges when undergoing this process such as how I’ll be able to learn certain techniques and methods, but with the help of my mentor, I feel like I’d be able to understand. I plan to continue researching marketing in depth and focus on social media and marketing strategies. Furthermore, I need to focus on proper communication with my peers. In ISM we had practiced talking and presenting in front of our peers, and I found myself getting anxiety and jittering a lot. To address this, I will keep practicing public speaking to enhance my communication skills. These skills will not only help me in the ISM class, but also in the professional world. I've also realized that my topic demands speaking my thoughts thoroughly and clearly which I plan to strengthen in ISM. designs.
