Settling On my Idea for My Original Work

This week I had finalized my original work idea, for my topic on marketing. I did extensive research on what ideas I could possibly do in this field as a marketing high school student. I have decided that I am going to be constructing a marketing plan for a local business around me in Frisco. I learned that I’m going to have to understand the components for successful marketing and research into the budget, the brand's objectives, and other tactics. It was challenging to come up with an idea for my original work since I wanted to steer away from traditional ideas, and come up with something that can be effective and implemented into the real world. Now, I have to focus on contacting and cold calling professionals to try and get a mentor to guide me through the process. Through this I hope to gain a little more knowledge on marketing. I need to focus on properly displaying the information that I already know and display it to others. I want to be able to grow confident in my topic and gain a deeper understanding of marketing. I need to work on attaining and learning new topics and collaborating with others to get my ideas known.
