The Life of a Digital Marketer 09/17/24

This past week I furthered my research into what a digital marketer does on a day to day basis. I got to understand the roles that digital marketers play in our technical world. I took upon the strategies that digital marketing requires and how they manage to connect with their target audience. By focusing on their business objectives, I realized what it took to engage consumers on online platforms. I got to understand how a marketer is responsible for attempting to promote products, services, or brands. With that I learned how there are various roles through this field, and how they play a crucial role in driving online visibility. I still have questions on the impact digital marketing can have and how drastic of a difference there would be if there was no seams of marketing. Within this field I saw that you can have many different branches of marketing, such as content creation and management, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), email marketing, social media marketing, and data analysis and reporting. Some challenges that I have encountered through researching for my topic is the limited information on each of the branches in digital marketing. As I am researching more and more in depth, I’m beginning to see a lack of details in some of the marketing areas. This coming week, I plan on finding more information on the different types of marketing and understanding the significance of each one. I can successfully say that I am going to pursue digital marketing as my topic of interest.
